This is a plea for those of you who can –
on your professional or personal time – to contact your representatives
today to urge them to
strengthen, not weaken, the mortgage bill (HR
3915). Message to
Representatives: (Call (202) 224-3121, or go to House.gov for email or the
direct phone number.) Strengthen, don’t
weaken, the mortgage bill (HR 3915): 1) Strengthen the remedies against the
holders of illegal loans so homeowners get real, not illusory,
protection. 2) Eliminate the preemption provision so it
does not gut state laws against civil rights violations, unfair and deceptive
practices, and fraud. 3) Oppose any weakening
amendments. Applaud Congress for taking action to curb
abusive lending practices. Make sure that any reforms are meaningful and
do not actually protect bad practices. Message for clients
(simpler): For
those of you putting letters together for your clients who want something
simpler: Make the mortgage bill stronger so
homeowners get real protection and don’t lose state law protection
against civil rights violations, unfair and deceptive practices, and
fraud. Oppose changes to make the bill weaker Lauren K.

It is amazing to watch money evolve from worthwhile to worthless. The United States is running the country on borrowed money. People are not succeeding in life, they are buying success and going bankrupt because they are not following any restraint or fear of loss. Their is always cheaper money to buy in the US. This is so
dangerous and I believe the value of the US dollar would crash if the actual value that is placed on our own currency was understood by the rest of the world.
